Write • Build • Scale

I made a massive mistake when I first started building my creator business.

And it cost me thousands of dollars in lost revenue.

Here's what happened:

When I launched my first digital product, I spent months perfecting it.

I recorded hours of video content.

I created detailed workbooks.

I built a fancy sales page.

I wanted it to be perfect before I put it out into the world.

And you know what happened when I finally launched it?

Crickets.

Not because the product was bad.

But because I had spent so much time building in isolation that I never validated whether people actually wanted what I was creating.

I had fallen into the trap of thinking: If I build it, they will come.

But that's not how it works.

The creators who succeed aren't the ones with the most polished products.

They're the ones who validate fast and iterate based on real feedback from real customers.

If I had known these lessons earlier, I would have:

  • Launched faster instead of overthinking
  • Validated my ideas before spending months building
  • Started with smaller, simpler offers instead of trying to create a "flagship" course right away

The funny thing is, some of my most successful products were the ones I created quickly, based on the real needs of my audience.

They were not perfect, but they solved a real problem for my audience—and that's what matters most.

Here's My Advice for You

If you've been thinking about creating a digital product but waiting for the "right time" or the "perfect idea"...

Stop waiting.

Start small.

Test your ideas.

Get feedback.

Iterate.

The market will tell you what works much faster than you can figure it out in your head.

And if you're stuck on what to create, my co-founder Jari will help you out:

Use the opportunity. Test something. See what happens.

Because the biggest mistake isn't launching something imperfect.

The biggest mistake is not launching at all.

Big love from my screen to yours,
Sinem
