what happens when AI does EVERYTHING?

We hosted our very first Substack meetup in Orlando this week, and I still can't believe people traveled (some of them for hours) just to spend a few hours with us.

This was not a practical workshop, a conference, or a paid event with dozens of keynotes.

It was literally all about connection, and yet, we had attendees who traveled for hours to be with us, which I don’t take lightly.

Some of them are clients we've worked with for months, which means we've spent dozens of hours together on Zoom, but something shifts when you step into the same room and laugh at the things that never quite translate through a screen.

Here's what the meetup proved for me:

We're living in a moment where anyone can ship content in seconds.

You can generate a post, a video, a whole week of content before your coffee goes cold, which means content itself isn't valuable anymore.

You're not getting paid to create.

You're getting paid for your experience. For your credibility. For the way you see things that nobody else sees, and for being uniquely you.

And most importantly, you can get paid for the spaces you create and protect for your community.

To be fair, not everyone can create and claim those rooms in the offline world. And that's okay.

The message here isn't about hosting your own meetup. It's about being aware that your personality and unique perspective matter more than ever.

You need content to attract an audience and stay on top of their minds. But you need more than just content if you want to actually get paid for your knowledge, stories, and passion.
