Most creators treat platforms like marriages and wonder why they're stuck.

They pick a platform.

Commit.

Build their entire identity around it.

And stay loyal even when it stops serving them. 😵‍💫

I get it. There's comfort in consistency.

But here's what I've learned after building online for nearly a decade...

Platforms don't care about your loyalty. They care about their growth.

And the smartest creators? They're not loyal to platforms.

They're loyal to their goals — and willing to move wherever the opportunity is biggest.

Right now, that place is Substack.

Let me explain why.

Every platform goes through different phases.

Discovery (when growth is easy).

Saturation (when you're fighting millions of creators for scraps of attention).

And decline (when organic reach quietly dies).

LinkedIn is in decline.

Instagram prioritizes Reels over everything else.

X is unpredictable.

But Substack? It's still in discovery mode.

The algorithm is generous.

The recommendation engine is actually working.

And here's the biggest shift: paid subscriptions are becoming normalized. Readers are getting used to paying for valuable content.

That's rare. And it won't last forever.

But here's what most people miss about Substack.

It's not just a newsletter tool. It's a discovery engine to grow your email list.

On Substack, every subscriber is added to your email list. You own those addresses. You can download them anytime. If Substack disappeared tomorrow, you'd still have access to your audience.

That's the difference between renting attention and owning an asset.

The key is staying flexible and capitalizing on platforms when they offer an opportunity.

Platforms are tools and we're supposed to use them strategically.

If you've been dabbling on Substack — posting occasionally, hoping something sticks — this is your sign to get serious.

The window is open. The question is whether you're going to take advantage of it.

And if you want help doing it the right way...

I'm hosting a FREE live Masterclass where I'll show you the exact strategies we used to grow to 1,000 paid subscribers on Substack.

No fluff. Just the framework that actually works.
