Hey Reader, I'm back from an amazing yoga festival, a trip to the Austrian countryside, and a day in Munich, where I met writer friends. Physically, I'm back in the office. Mentally, I'm dying of excitement because I'm going to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour next week! I'll be at a pre-event on Wednesday, at the concert on Thursday + Friday, and outside the stadium on Friday (unless I get last-minute tickets!) When I told my friends about my plans, they were stunned that I'm taking three days off work to go to the same concert. But hey, that's the beauty of being your own boss: You make the rules. 😉 I spent the past 6 years building a creator business that allows me to:
And if I'm 100% honest, my business is stupidly simple. I've been doing the same things since 2020: writing content, sending newsletters, selling digital products. I’ve seen dozens of new platforms and exciting opportunities come and go. I run a community with over 20,000 writers, and the harsh truth is that most people fail to grow an audience because they’re impatient. I’ve been writing on the same platform for over half a decade. I’ve sent over 1,000 newsletters. And I’ve been selling the same offers for years. If you don't do the same things for long enough, you won't ever become good at what you do. And guess what? There's a lot of noise on the internet. PS. You don't need more information. You need to finally take action: |

I say no to more things so I can say hell yeah to the opportunities that help me move closer to my goals. I was wondering about how to help you do the same this week and decided that sharing a few helpful resources is the best way to go. The whole purpose of this newsletter is to help you: Write online with confidence and clarity Build your audience And scale your...
Hey Reader, A lot is happening in the Write • Build • Scale house behind the scenes right now, but most importantly, I've been busy supporting the attendees of our brand-new Online Writing Challenge. Our first participants have already finished the Challenge, and the feedback we received so far has proven that the Challenge is the perfect stepping stone for new writers who've been struggling to take action: Writing online isn't hard. It can be easy if you focus on the right things, but most...
Hey Reader! Do you know James Clear? He wrote the bestseller Atomic Habits and runs a huge newsletter with millions of subscribers. I've been a fan of his work for years and love this Tweet: I had the same feelings when I started to write online in 2018. I thought I was too late. People were saying new writers couldn't build an audience anymore. And to be honest, some of these voices discouraged me. Whenever I felt stuck, I told myself it was because I was too late. I tried to comfort myself...
