Write • Build • Scale Sunday Digest

Write Better, Build Smarter & Scale Faster

Welcome to the first edition of the brand-new Write • Build • Scale Sunday digest!

This is a new format that you'll find in your inbox every Sunday, and it has a simple goal: Helping you write better, build your audience, and scale your income through actionable resources, under-the-radar ideas, and quick tips.

Do you need another email tool if you use Substack?

One of the questions we discussed with our Substack System members this week is whether you need an additional email marketing tool if you're using Substack.

And the answer is it depends.

It depends on your status quo and goals.

At Write • Build • Scale, we use Substack and Kit (that's how we're sending you this email, for instance) because we need Kit's advanced features, such as tagging, automations, and sequences.

Even though Substack can serve as an email marketing tool, we look at it as a growth channel.

Yes, we send emails on Substack, but we primarily use it to reach new readers and grow our audience.

We shared a detailed breakdown of how we use Substack and Kit here.

If you're NEW to the online writing world (or Substack, in particular), you don't need an additional email service provider like Kit. At least not for the first few months.

At first, you should focus on growing your audience and building a content library you're proud of.

If you later decide to build and sell (digital) products on autopilot, you can consider adding a proper email service provider to your toolkit.

Want More Coaching Clients?

Selling high-priced coaching offers is the easiest way to significantly increase your income as a creator, expert, consultant, or coach.

We recently created a detailed guide on how to properly package, promote, and sell your knowledge through a coaching offer so you can easily get paid for doing what you love.

Beat Procrastination With A Simple System

At the end of each Sunday Digest, we'll share one cool thing we recently discovered that can help you grow your audience, improve productivity, or just live a better life.

This week, it's the 4 Quarters Method.

The core idea is simple: Split your days into four sections of approximately 4 hours each. Next, set clear goals and intentions for each quarter.

Even if you "mess up" one of your four quarters, you'll know that you have three more.

Hey, my friend! We've replied to dozens of questions about mini-courses lately, but one of them stands out because it came up so often: "What's the #1 thing I need to get right to ensure my mini-course will be successful and profitable?" The truth is, it's not the sales page (although that's definitely important)... It's not the launch emails (even though those are also important)... It's the course topic. The most important step in creating a profitable mini-course is to choose a winning...
