You keep seeing it: The people who built great audiences on Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. are quietly moving to Substack.

Everyone seems to be announcing a version of:

Subscribe to my Substack!
I'm on Substack now!
Read my new essay on Substack!

And a small voice in your head goes, "great, one more platform to learn." 😖 🤬

If I'm honest, I understand why that voice is loud right now.

Starting somewhere new when you're already good at what you do feels like signing up to be a beginner on purpose. 😅

But here's what I want you to hear:

The hard part isn't the platform.

The hard part is having something worth saying, and you probably cleared that bar years ago.

You spent a long time becoming someone people trust.

You have client stories.

You have the real reps that leave a mark.

You have opinions you earned by watching the same mistake wreck your audience over and over again.

That's the part almost nobody can fake, and it's the part you already own.

The truth is, you only start from zero once.

You did it on whatever platform or in whatever room first made you good at this, and everything since then has compounded.

A new platform doesn't reset your expertise. It gives it somewhere new to live, somewhere people can pay you to keep showing up.

Maybe you've already published a handful of posts on Substack, but it still feels quiet.

Maybe you haven't written a word, and you're standing at the edge deciding if it's worth it.

Either way, don't let the unfamiliarity of the platform hold you back.

Learning where the buttons are takes a week. Learning what you know took years. You already did the years. All you have to do now is translate it to "Substack language."

Worth Your Time This Week
